卫理公会砂劳越华人年议会关怀社区的其中一项服务乃成立中心给予智障人士并维护他（她）们的人权与尊严。
The Sarawak Chinese Annual Conference (SCAC) of the
Methodist Church in Sarawak offers a range of services for children and
youth with an intellectual disability in Sibu as an expression of God's
love for all and Christian concern for the rights and dignity of people
with special needs.
1998年, 本会设立了卫理关怀中心并开始早期介入与教育课程给予0-6岁有发展迟缓/学习障碍的幼婴及孩童。这之后，又开办其他课程给不同需要与年龄层的智障人士
。 也藉此些服务来互补有关政府机构与非政府机构提供予智障人士的社区康复服务。 |
