课程简介:
Science Meets Art in The McClosky Technique
Efficient breath management, simple relaxation
techniques, good posture alignment, vocal hygiene and
phonation techniques are the basic criteria in singing.
The McClosky Vocal Technique addresses all these issues
which can enable one to experience vocal freedom. It is
a technique that benefits singers of different styles,
school teachers, preachers, speakers, and anyone who has
to use the voice more than the ordinary person in their
daily work.
The McClosky Voice Method is based on the work of David
Blair McClosky (1902-1988). In the 1950's. In
collaboration with otolaryngologists at Syracuse
University and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary
in Boston, he developed the techniques to resolve vocal
problems without surgery. It is now used by performing
musicians, speakers, and teachers to maintain healthy,
resilient voices even under demanding conditions.
