爱民堂前身，乃万民堂比拉卓青少年聚会处。

1991年开始了第一次聚会，由于丽华花园住宅区的开发，比拉卓青少年聚会更于1992年迁至丽华花园的商店，成为布道站。
1993年正式命名为爱民布道站。1994年正式升为堂会。

至2018年为止，这一教堂的建筑，仍是根据原有爱莲街福源堂拆下的教堂建筑为主而建立起来。由于发展的需要，爱民堂现已经建造了新圣堂。
感恩，今年政府已通过批准建新圣堂，正在筹款中。
