港头于1935年开始建立，在学校礼堂内附设主日崇拜会所，命名为「救主堂」。
1964年，建成一座新教堂。
港头近年来迅速发展，人口日渐增加，主日崇拜人数也增加。有鉴于此，1992年策划建新圣堂，1998年落成。
2015年8月8日，80周年感恩礼拜。
2018年4月1日，开始在乌鲁顺溪美拉63B巷商店，举行新聚会所主日崇拜及主日学。
