会长的话（十四）代代相传：恭喜发财，红包拿来

​“恭喜发财!”“红包拿来!” 华人除了喜欢吃喝,“民以食为天”,也喜欢发财;所以新年期间见面常说“恭喜发财!”作为基督徒,我们也想发财,发财并没有错,错在于“贪财”,因为贪财是万恶之根。拥有宇宙万物的上帝也要向你说一声:“恭喜发财!”上帝也希望你发财,上帝要你富足,祂说:靠主耶稣发财:恭喜发财!

​“你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典:祂本来富足,却为你们成了贫穷,叫你们因祂的贫穷可以成为富足。”(林后八 9)“上帝能将各样的恩惠多多地加给你们,使你们凡事常常充足,能多行各样善事,”(林后九 8)

​按照上下文来看,这里所说的富足,这里所提到的恩惠,是与钱财有关。换句话说,主耶稣本来是富足的,为你我成为了贫穷,好叫我们成为富足,祂把恩惠多多加给我们。上帝已经给你最大的红包,就是主耶稣基督,使你发财了!

​今天你已经富足,你已经得到了上帝最大的红包,你已经得到许多的钱财,是因为上帝的恩典,上帝的恩惠。

​卫理公会的华人会友本来是贫穷的,一百多年前来到砂拉越,白手起家;但是因为信主耶稣,蒙上帝赐福,今天成为了富足,成为了“有钱人”。我认识一位弟兄,他刚刚信主的时候,是做小生意的;但是他信靠主耶稣,上帝赐福给他,使他发财,他的生意扩展到砂拉越各地、沙巴、汶莱,甚至到西马。弟兄姐妹,上帝早就已经向你说:恭喜发财!

你也已经发了财。既然已经发了财,那你应当做什么呢?上帝要向你说:红包拿来!

发财就是要奉献:红包拿来!

​当你成为富足之后,上帝说:“乃要均平。就是要你们的富余现在可以补他们的不足,使他们的富余将来也可以补你们的不足,这就均平了,”(林后八 14)

​“均平”就是“平等”。这也就是我们教会统筹统办的精神,你的富足可以帮助贫穷的人,贫穷的教会,使大家可以均平,可以平等。将来当他们富有的时候,就可以转过来帮助你了!就如你今天帮助有需要的原住民,他们有一天成为砂拉越的领袖,他们就可以转过来帮助你。其实这个已经成为了事实。所以当你的红包拿来的时候,你其实也
是帮助了自己的将来,甚至子子孙孙都有保障,也都有红包。

​会祖卫斯理约翰也向你说:“恭喜发财!红包拿来”,因为他说“多多赚钱,多多省钱!”但他的第三句话是:多多捐钱!多多捐钱就是“红包拿来”!

​我们的教会也向你说:“恭喜发财!红包拿来!”因为年议会很需要你的元旦捐、复活捐、感恩捐、会友捐等等。虽然年议会有许多余款,但是我们已经计划好把这些钱用在有需要的群众和事工上面,我们像拥有宇宙万物的上帝那样,虽然富有,但是还是要求大家继续按照本分努力奉献,甚至要求没有那么有钱的会友奉献,因为哥林多后书八章 1-4 告诉我们,贫穷的马其顿人按着力量超过力量的奉献!

​除了年会,堂会当然也需要你的奉献,无论在建堂方面,在经常费方面,在宣教方面,在布道方面,在社会关怀方面等等,都需要你多多的捐钱。其实你的红包拿来,也是帮助你自己,帮助你的子子孙孙。我知道好些堂会,非常努力的奉献,对年会,对宣教,对堂会本身,都尽了力量,成为大家美好的榜样。

​弟兄姐妹,当你努力奉献,努力捐钱的时候,
上帝的应许是:“神能将各样的恩惠多多地加给你们,
使你们凡事常常充足,能多行各样善事,”(林后九
8)上帝会给你更多的红包,使你能够分更多的红包。

所以,恭喜发财,红包拿来吧!
