英基罗之堂会创始于1920年,当年,经本处传道林昌标, 邀集会友在郑路报会伯家, 诵经祷告而已。两年后, 徐公福、张清榕、陈天送、王成昌, 刘孝和等会友们积极的奉献建成真源堂。
第二次世界大战后,真源堂会与上坡堂会联合,归一专任传道主理。
直至1961年,圣堂始被建立起来。
真源堂堂址近拉让江畔,常年累月被江水侵蚀, 江边土地崩裂, 为教会长远计, 故计划筹建副堂一座。于1989年在离堂址不远大路旁兴建副堂, 1991年年中落成。
