荣福堂的前身原本只是一间主日学所，于1962年改为布道处。
在70年代,砂州政治局势动盈不安，乡民纷纷迁往市区,堂会也受影响，会友人数剧降。几位堂会元老： 叶淑芳、周彩平、林爱玉等会母，在这段艰辛日子期间,为荣福堂所做出的贡献，深获后辈信徒的赞扬与学习。
1984年，四百甲布道处的会友人数达到目标申请升为堂会，命名为荣福堂。
新圣堂于1998年12月6 日,在巴湾亚山大路旁落成。
2016年11月27日，55周年感恩礼拜。
